The Western States Acquirers Association’s annual event is bigger and better than ever this year.
In just a few days, the next Western States Acquirers Association event will be back with more content and more connections than ever. The event is planned for Nov. 1-2, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, convenient to both Los Angeles and San Diego. More than 1,400 attendees will gather at the acquiring industry’s marquee conference to learn what’s new and next in the payments space.
WSAA 2023 agenda up close.
The festivities kick off on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with fresh insights from the experts at Mastercard. Hear how acquirers can reduce risk in today’s climate, a timely topic for executives hoping to optimize efficiency. After a 90-minute buffet-style lunch break, thought leaders from Visa will discuss what to expect from the future of payments. You’ll also learn how fast payments serve the on-demand economy and brush up on what you really need to know about payment facilitation (PayFac) services.
Attendees who want to learn more about digital payments trends in business-to-business can attend another session with Visa, a great option for ISOs just catching up on what’s occurring in this area of the industry.
WSAA 2023 will carry on the networking tradition that defines the can’t-miss events. Day one wraps with six hours of receptions, cocktails, and mingling, where you can catch up with old and new friends and talk to exhibitors.
Power up at the espresso bar early Thursday before refueling at the exhibitors’ breakfast. ETA will get the content going with an update on the latest from the nation’s capital and what’s new in the regulatory landscape. You’ll also take away tips on building institutional value despite the tough economic climate and learn how the skills in your workforce affect the success of your business.
Following a seated lunch in the exhibitors’ hall, experts will discuss why surcharging and cash discounting are under threat and what you can do about it. Finally, no 2023 conference lineup would be complete without an overview of artificial intelligence and what today’s hottest technology means for the payments sector.
Also, keynote speaker and bestselling author Scott McKain closes out the content portion of WSAA 2023 with an exciting talk on why the customer experience matters and how you can build one that makes a positive lasting impression.
As always, toast to another great WSAA conference at the farewell reception in the exhibitors’ hall. And take a moment during the two-and-half-hour closing party to start making your plans for next year’s event.
